Asbestos-related diseases & Mesothelioma Biology Research (AMBR) project

Flinders University is at the forefront of research into mesothelioma. The team led by Sonja Klebe has launched a new research project to investigate the development, treatment response, and real-world health outcomes of this rare disease following asbestos exposure.

To accomplish this work, the research team will collect and study clinical health and exposure data, as well as donated biological samples from consenting adults with mesothelioma or asbestos-related disease, or consenting adults who are potentially at risk (including known asbestos exposure, co-workers and family members)
