SafeWork SA is advising people concerned about the possibility of asbestos in old carpet underlay to seek professional advice before having it removed.

All of us at AVA are very disappointed about the penalties which were imposed on the James Hardie executives. In all the amount of $750,00 is a very small sum when compared to the $2.5million spent by the company trying to defend their actions. And remember, they did not have enough money to contribute to the Compensation Fund this year!
